Italy borders France for a little more than 300 miles. During the month of May we are crossing the border for two fantastic wine dinners featuring French wines.
Join us Sunday, May 5th at Zona River at 6:00pm for a night of Burgundy.
Burgundy is called the “King of Wines”. Cambridge University Magazine once said, “Burgundy!!! Fill yourself a goblet of this grandly poetical wine, and quaff of it largely…and if you are not happy, God help you.”
Come see what all of the fuss is about on May 5th. We will be featuring four wines and four courses for $65. For one delicious dining experience only, Zona River will be transformed into a French restaurant serving:
Radishes in Pots, Mozzarella Whey, Rye Crumb
Mohua Sauvignon Blanc, 2012, Marlborough, New Zealand
Brie en Croutte, Puff Pastry, Poached Cherries
Baileyana Pinot Noir 2010, Edna Valley, San Luis Obispo, Cal
Veal Sweetbreads, with Mushroom Glaze, Pomme Puree, Roasted Baby Onions
Copain Syrah 2010, Russian River Valley, Cal.
